Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers received yesterday Thabo Mbeki, ex-president of the Republic of South Africa.
The meeting reviewed the advanced relations between Oman and South Africa and means of promoting them in various areas.
It also touched on ways of activating the agreements signed between both sides in different areas. The two sides also reviewed a number of issues at the regional and international arenas.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Al Fadhl Mohammed Al Harthy, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy and Mohammed Nassir Al Wahibi, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Administrative and Financial Affairs.
