Muscat: Introductory meetings of candidates for membership to Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) Board of Directors (2022-2026) began in the Governorate of Muscat.
The meeting aims to allow the candidates to present their election programmes and future plans.
The introductory meetings’ inaugural ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr. Saleh Said Masn, Commerce and Industry Undersecretary, Head of the Elections Committee at OCCI.
Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Elections Committee announced the final list of candidates for membership to the Board of Directors of the chamber and its branches in all the governorates.
The number of candidates stood at 122. The committee approved the locations of the election centres for voting on 22 November 2022, from 8am until 6pm at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center (OCEC) in the Governorate of Muscat, Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in the Governorate of Dhofar, OCCI headquarters in the Wilayat of Khassab and the Wilayat of Daba in the Governorate of Musandam, as well as branches of OCCI administrations in the remaining governorates.
