Tehran: Dr. Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran received in Tehran on Saturday Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister.
During the meeting, Sayyid Badr conveyed greetings and best wishes of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to President Raisi and the people of Iran.
In his turn, the Iranian President expressed his appreciation and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people, wishing the relations between the two countries further progress. President Raisi also expressed his greetings to the Sultanate of Oman on the 52nd glorious National Day.
The meeting reviewed the advanced relations between Oman and Iran and underscored the joint keenness to promote them in various spheres to serve interests of the two countries and meet aspirations of their peoples.
The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international developments. The meeting was attended by Dr. Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ibrahim Ahmed Al Ma’eni, Ambassador of Oman to Iran and some officials from both sides.
