Yosra Mahnouch and Mia Farouk to perform at ROHM

Muscat: The Royal Opera House Muscat has announced the return of the special Kulthumiyat concert, celebrating the legacy of Umm Kulthum.

The concert for 2022 features two exceptional artists, Yosra Mahnouch and Mia Farouk, renowned singers of the Umm Kulthum repertoire.

The concert will be accompanied by the Amir Abdul Majid Ensemble, conducted by Amir Abdul Majid.

Umm Kulthum was an exceptional artist with a unique voice who dedicated her life to art.

She was not only the most famous superstar in the Arab world for a period of more than sixty years but also possessed an incredible artistic presence that gripped audiences throughout the world.

Following a programme of Umm Kulthum’s greatest songs, the artists will perform at the Royal Opera House of Musical Arts on the Friday 9 and Saturday 10 December at 7pm.
