Oman and the Republic of Austria signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding political consultations between the two countries.
Muscat: Oman and the Republic of Austria have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding political consultations between the two countries.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said: “The Sultanate and Austria signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding political consultations between the two countries. His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign, held a session of political talks with His Excellency Alexander Schallenberg, Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs, Austria, which dealt with a number of regional and global issues and developments and exchanged views on them.”
“During the session, the two ministers expressed their satisfaction with the level of the existing bilateral relations, and explored more opportunities for cultural and tourism cooperation, vocational training, technology transfer, and economic and investment partnership that would bring benefits to both countries,” ONA added.
