Muscat: Mohammed al Hajri (Majomba) is an Omani social media influencer who has been watching matches in the World Cup, wearing jerseys of one of the teams playing in that particular match.

It may be sheer coincidence, but the fact that the team whose jersey he wears ends up on the losing side, right from the start of this World Cup, including the Argentina-Saudi Arabia match, which was one of the major upsets of this World Cup.
His followers, including Moroccon fans in Qatar, have been urging him to wear the French team jersey during its semi-final match with Morrocco – the only African and Arab team to ever reach the World Cup semis, hoping it will stay pay the ‘opposite’ dividends this time too.
