In the A Division match, OCT Ruwi put Strenserv to bat first. Strenserv’s openers started with a steady partnership until Rahul Rajeev lost his wicket to Faraz Al Balushi in the 8 th over. Looking to post a formidable total, opener Vijesh Velunni gave Strenserv a good start followed by a partnership from Mustaqeem Asif and Abdul Malik to steady the ship. Strenserv kept loosing wickets at regular intervals crumbling down to 116 in total courtesy 2 wickets a piece from Faraz Al Balushi, Nawed Al Balushi and Younis Murad. In response, OCT Ruwi had a cold blow start courtesy fiery spells from Abdul Rauf and Jaleel K to wrap 2 of their batsmen in the powerplay. Crucial runs by Rahil Habibullah helped OCA steady their ship with Prathiesh Hema Ramesh and Mohd Arafat Islam taking the OCA U19 score to a respectable 207 runs with MCCC U19’s Hamza Muhammed bagging 4 wickets , Mustaqeem Asif claiming 3 wickets and Jayesh Mai taking 2 wickets.
