In the A Division match, OCT Ruwi put Strenserv to bat first. Strenserv’s openers started with a steady partnership until Rahul Rajeev lost his wicket to Faraz Al Balushi in the 8 th over. Looking to post a formidable total, opener Vijesh Velunni gave Strenserv a good start followed by a partnership from Mustaqeem Asif and Abdul Malik to steady the ship. Strenserv kept loosing wickets at regular intervals crumbling down to 116 in total courtesy 2 wickets a piece from Faraz Al Balushi, Nawed Al Balushi and Younis Murad. In response, OCT Ruwi had a cold blow start courtesy fiery spells from Abdul Rauf and Jaleel K to wrap 2 of their batsmen in the powerplay. However, Mohammed Al Balushi’s sublime half century with Nawed Al Balushi for a 60 runs partnership ensured they were near the shore.

Crucial runs by Rahil Habibullah helped OCA steady their ship with Prathiesh Hema Ramesh and Mohd Arafat Islam taking the OCA U19 score to a respectable 207 runs with MCCC U19’s Hamza Muhammed bagging 4 wickets , Mustaqeem Asif claiming 3 wickets and Jayesh Mai taking 2 wickets.
