عقد مجلس إدارة جمعية الصحفيين العمانية إجتماعه الإول لعام 2023م وذلك بمقر الجمعية بمرتفعات المطار ، وفي بداية الإجتماع رحب الدكتور محمد بن مبارك العريمي رئيس مجلس إدارة الجمعية بالأعضاء الحضور ووجه لهم شكره وتقديره على جهودهم التي بذلوها في تحقيق رسالة الجمعية وإنجاح خططها وبرامجها، متمنيًا لهم التوفيق والنجاح والعمل المستمر بروح الفريق الواحد في قادم الأعمال.
بعد ذلك إستعرض أعضاء مجلس الإدارة بنود جدول الأعمال وتم مناقشتها بشكل مستفيض وإقرار العديد من المواضيع ومن بينها إعتماد خطة الجمعية لعام 2023م والتي تتضمن عددِِ من المناشط والبرامج والدورات التدريبية وكذلك إقامة دورات وملتقيات صحفية وإعلامية ، إضافة إلى إعادة إحياء الصالون الإعلامي بحيث يكون نشاطه متواصلًا بشكل شهري يُطرح من خلاله العديد من القضايا المتعلقة بالشأن العماني ذات الأبعاد القتصادية والاجتماعية والرياضية وغيرها من الموضوعات ذات الصلة بالمواضيع الصحفية و الإعلامية حيث سيتم طرحها بصورة مهنية تؤدي إلى إيصال الرسالة بكل وضوح وشفافية.
كما تضمن الإجتماع مناقشة عدد من الموضوعات والمخاطبات الواردة إلى الجمعية .
