Connecting customers and visitors to seamless banking across Dhofar
Reaffirming its commitment to national responsibility and active participation in Oman’s cultural and social landscape, Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate of Oman, has announced its sponsorship of Khareef Dhofar 2026. The season officially opened on 21 June 2026 and runs through 21 September 2026.
This sponsorship is an extension of the Bank’s longstanding support for tourism development and the goals of Oman Vision 2040. Khareef Dhofar 2026 is shaping up to be the biggest edition of the season yet, with over 125 cultural, artistic, sporting and entertainment events spread across Dhofar Governorate. The programme is designed to cement Dhofar’s standing as one of the premier seasonal destinations, drawing visitors from across Oman and the wider region. This year’s highlights include the second edition of the Dhofar International Theatre Festival, the inaugural Dhofar International Sculpture Festival, traditional symphony and coral performances and a varied lineup of Stand-Up Comedy shows featuring Arab artists.
Events are spread across multiple key locations throughout the governorate, including the beloved Ittin Square in Al Saada, Waqt Al-Tifl at Awqad Park and Salalah Public Health Garden, as well as activations in the wilayats of Mirbat, Taqa and Sadah, offering something for every visitor.
