Customers can now tokenize their LuLu Bank Muscat Mastercard Credit Card, offering a faster, safer, and more convenient way to make digital payments.
This latest addition builds on the Bank’s continuous initiatives to enhance electronic payment technologies and digital services. The Apple Pay service is now available to all Bank Muscat Cards across all schemes (VISA and Mastercard) , allowing them to easily add their cards to the Apple Wallet app. Once activated, customers can complete transactions by double-tapping the side button on their Apple devices and holding it near a payment terminal.
Each transaction is secured through facial recognition, fingerprint authentication, or device passcode, combined with a unique dynamic security code for every payment, ensuring a high level of protection and confidentiality.
The Apple Pay service provides a secure and efficient method for making purchases both online and in-store across the globe. It integrates a unique technology technology, which safeguards sensitive information through advanced encryption and biometric authentication, replacing personal data with unique tokens to prevent potential cyber threats.
