Salalah: UAE cyclist Jabir Hussein Al Mansouri secured the first place in the second stage of Salalah Cycling Tour, organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, represented by Oman Cycling Association in cooperation with the Office of the Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar.
The cycling race kicked off on Wednesday from Samharam Port to Al Mughasil Beach for 106km. UAE cyclist Ahmed Al Mansouri bagged the second place and Qatari cyclist Bilal Al Saadi secured the third place.
The third stage will kick off on Thursday from Al Baleed Archaeological Park to the Niyabat of Hajif and finish at the Niyabat of Qayroon Hairti for 101km, while the fourth stage will kick off on Friday from Taqa Fort to Mirbat Fort and would finish at Al Sa’adah Sports Complex for 109 kilometres.
