Luxembourg: Grand Duke of Luxembourg received at his palace credentials of Sheikh Dr Abdullah Salim al Harthy as extraordinary and plenipotentiary non-resident Ambassador of the Sultanate to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The ambassador conveyed greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik and wishes of continued health and happiness to the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, and the friendly people of Luxembourg further progress and prosperity. The Grand Duke of Luxembourg asked the ambassador to convey his greetings to His Majesty the Sultan, and best wishes to the Omani people.
