Muscat: Several sector coordinators of the National Emergency Management System are holding a meeting at the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), on the expected possible path of Tropical Storm Shaheen.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency, (ONA), said: “The coordinators of the sectors of the national system for emergency management are holding a meeting at the Civil Aviation Authority, during which a briefing was given about the expected possibilities of Tropical Storm Shaheen from the National Multi Hazard Early Warning Centre and a review of the sectors’ preparations and readiness to deal with the situation.”
Meanwhile, the Centre also published the expected course of the storm.
