Muscat: Oman Volleyball Association (OVA) named the national experienced Coach Jamal al Mamari as head Coach of the National Volleyball team.
The announcement made during the launching ceremony of OVA for 2021-2022 season on Wednesday at Grand Hotel Muscat.
The ceremony was under auspices of HE Basil Ahmed al Rawas, Undersecretary of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Sports and Youth in presence of Eng Ibrahim al Maqbali, chairman of OVA and officials.
During the event, OVA officials announced the coaching staff of the national team will comprise of Jamal al Mamari as head coach while Hilal al Jabri as assistant coach.
Ali al Farsi as Physiotherapist while Hamed al Ghabshi as administrative member.
OVA decided to raise raising the cash prizes of the top-tier league to 70,000 $.
The event included unveiling OVA’s new strategic parterres and sponsors.
