Now that the Eid al Adha holidays had been announced, everyone definitely will be scampering for destinations to explore. For those who don’t want to long a very far distance but wanted to enjoy being in the water, then you should definitely give Khor Jarama and the numerous floating chalets located in its waters a chance.
There are different chalets to choose from. Our recommendation however is that you pre-booked your stay that way you can choose the chalet that works for you and your family and friends. The newer and bigger the chalet, the more expensive it can get. During our recent visit to the khor, the owner allowed us to check their newest chalet which can accommodate 10 to 15 people with ample space. When checking in, it’s much better to bring your own food supply. Think of the chalet as a camping spot right in the middle of the khor. You will be able to fish and barbecue but also have access to toilet and air-conditioned rooms and amenities.
