Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MOH) has issued a circular with regard to regulating working hours in the primary health care institutions in the Sultanate of Oman.
“His Excellency Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health, issued a ministerial circular regarding the regulation of working hours in primary health care institutions in proportion to the needs of society and the geographical and demographic dimension of the population, ” MOH said in a statement.
Under this circular, health services and programmes will be gradually reactivated, leading to universal health coverage. The Ministry of Health will, as of the beginning of next week, publish the names and locations of the health institutions that will be reactivated, and the new working hours in them.
