The Supreme Committee on Covid-19 announced a few decisions related to vaccination, which will be applicable to those coming to the Sultanate from across all borders from September 1, 2021.
The decision has made two-dose vaccination mandatory for people aged 18 years and above who wish to enter the Sultanate through all land, sea, and air outlets, in addition to a PCR test before or upon arrival to the Sultanate.

The Supreme Committee has not yet updated on the change in the status of the suspension of entry to the Sultanate until further notice for arrivals from Sudan, Brazil, Nigeria, Tanzania, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, India, United Kingdom, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Tunisia, Libya, Argentina, Colombia and arrivals from any other country if they have passed through any of the aforementioned countries during the previous 14 days preceding their request to enter the Sultanate.
Omani citizens, diplomats, health workers, and their families are exempt from the ban and will be subject to entry procedures adopted by the Sultanate.
