Muscat: The Food Safety and Quality Centre has reported receiving a warning that some Capri Sun cherry-flavored juice products, produced by the American brand, Kraft Heinz, may be contaminated with cleaning chemicals.

The center indicated that the contaminated products carry the operational number 076840040900, for the validity period to 25/6/2023.

The Centre confirmed that the aforementioned batches were distributed in American markets, and in the interest of consumer health and safety, it is currently working in coordination with the concerned authorities to ensure that local markets are free of affected products, if any.

The Centre recommended all consumers to avoid consuming the specific batch numbers of this product.
