Muscat: A technical failure at a network transmission line led to power outages across several parts of Oman on Monday, according to the Nama Group.
Oman News Agency, (ONA), said: “Nama Group clarifies that the cause of the interruption is a technical failure in one of the transmission lines of the network, stressing that work is underway to complete the return of service to the rest of the affected areas.”
Hassan bin Ali Al-Ajmi, director of commercial readiness at the group, confirmed that work is underway to develop a clear strategy in risk management and to investigate causes and to avoid this type of malfunction in the future.
