Muscat: Work will soon begin on the expansion project at Al Mouj and 18th November Streets in order to enhance traffic movement in the area and raise the efficiency of these roads.
Muscat Municipality said in a statement: “In order to raise the traffic efficiency in the area, Muscat Municipality will soon implement a project to expand “Al Mouj and 18th November Streets” to three lanes in each direction, converting (Al Mouj Roundabout, Al Bahja Roundabout, and Al Ishraq Roundabout in Al Hail North) to high-capacity intersections equipped with traffic lights, in addition to paving service streets for existing commercial buildings in the area.”
The Municipality added: “The project aims to enhance the traffic movement in the area, raise its efficiency, work on its flow at various times, encourage development and commercial movement, and serve the plans and facilities surrounding the area.”
