MUSCAT: Dr Hussein Ali Mwinyi, President of Zanzibar, will pay a several-day official visit to the Sultanate of Oman from Tuesday, said a statement issued by the Diwan of Royal Court.
The statement reads as follows: “In order to bolster the age-old relationship and the historic and cultural bonds between the Sultanate of Oman and Zanzibar, and to enhance existing cooperation between the two countries in various fields to serve the joint interests and achieve further progress, development and prosperity, Dr Hussein Ali Mwinyi, President of Zanzibar, will pay a several-day official visit to the Sultanate of Oman starting from Tuesday (October 11).
“Aspects of the existing cooperation between the two countries and ways of strengthening them to realise the desired objectives and the aspirations of both peoples, will be reviewed during the visit.” — ONA
