Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) issued its approval to operate Salam Air two flights a week between Muscat and Masirah, starting from November 3.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) had told earlier this year about the plans to provide air connectivity from different parts of this country, including tourist destinations.
Aimen al Hosni, CEO of Oman Airports, had hinted to the Observer that countries with expansive domestic networks have recovered faster in the post-pandemic scenario. He said the services will be launched in Musandam, Masirah, Al Hallaniyat Islands, and Ras al Hadd.
Salam Air also has the approval to operate six weekly flights between Muscat and Duqm, starting from October 29, 2022.
