This convenient and swift method allows customers to easily send Eidiya to family and friends, enhancing the joy of the celebration. With this exclusive feature, customers can send Eidiya quickly and securely, without the need to add or wait for the beneficiary registration period in the app. They can simply scan the QR code and send the Eidiya instantly. Bank Muscat added an instant QR code creation for customers and their kids where they can transfer Eidiya by scanning multiple codes and send in one go.
Customers can generate the QR code by selecting “Eidiya QR” to view their account’s QR Code to download or share with others. Parents or guardians can view their children’s Eidiya QR Codes by selecting “Accounts,” then select “Minor”, then “Eidiya QR.”
To transfer Eidiya using QR code, customers can choose “Transfers” > select “Within Bank Muscat” > select “Eidiya QR Pay” > scan the Eidiya QR Code > select the account they want to transfer from and the amount. They can add more QR Codes if they wish to transfer to multiple beneficiaries (Maximum 10) by selecting “More QR Codes” and select the amount they wish to transfer.
