Madrid: The Council of Oman participated in the meetings of the Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments (ASGP) within the 143rd General Assembly meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the accompanying meetings held in Madrid, Spain.
The meetings was held from November 26 to 30 in the presence of Khalid bin Ahmed Al Saadi, Secretary General of the State Council and Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Nadabi, Secretary General of Majlis Al Shura.
The meetings discussed the proposed changes to the rules of the Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments of the IPU, the developments of the innovation centre of the IPU, and the role of the Inter-Parliamentary Union committees in drafting the laws among other issues.
