DUBAI: The Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) on Saturday concluded its participation at the Dubai 2020 Expo which came as part of the GCC Secretariat-General’s pavilion.
SAF participated with the Royal Army of Oman’s (RAO) music band, the Sultan of Oman Armour Cavalry, the Royal Navy of Oman’s ship Shabab Oman II, the music bands of the Royal Guard of Oman, and the Royal Cavalry.
The military participation at Dubai 2020 Expo came at intervals in accordance with the schedule designated to each of the GCC countries.
Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Shaikh, Commissioner-General of the GCC Pavilion at EXPO 2020 Dubai, said the GCC armed forces participated at Dubai 2020 Expo through various military shows staged by music bands, cavalry teams, RNO’s vessel Shabab Oman II, adding that all military events saw significant turnout with visitors hailing the military shows.
