The Consumer Protection Authority in the Al Dhahirah Governorate seized a jewelry shop that tampered with prices.
As per the details, CPA received a report from a consumer about the manipulation of prices by one of the gold shops in the governorate, while calculating the total price of a piece of gold, which includes workmanship and the price of a gram in addition to the value-added tax.
The judicial authorities went to the shop and found that the information was accurate.
Necessary measures were taken against the shop, including its seizure.
