Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has welcomed the agreement reached by the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) to cease hostilities.
Through a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Oman expressed its appreciation for the efforts undertaken by the Government of the Republic of South Africa and the African Union, which hosted negotiations between the two sides. Oman voiced hope that this accord would contribute to the establishment of a lasting peace and the realization of Ethiopian people’s aspirations for security and stability.
