Reinforcing its leadership in leveraging advanced technologies to enhance banking services, Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate of Oman, has been awarded the AI-led Digital Banking Leadership title at the third edition of Cybersecurity & Cloud Conference 2026, recently organized by Muscat Daily at IntercityHotel Muscat, in the presence of Saleh Mohammed Al Zakwani, Chaiman of Apex Media. The award was received on behalf of Bank Muscat by Afaf Ali Moosa, Assistant General Manager of Large Corporates, in the presence of senior officials, industry experts and specialists from the technology and cybersecurity sectors. The conference featured a series of panel discussions addressing key topics related to the future of cybersecurity and digital transformation. Bank Muscat participated in a panel titled ” Fintech Security, Fraud Prevention & Digital Trust,” represented by Ahmed bin Khalfan Ambusaidi, Head of e-Channels Support. During the session, he highlighted the Bank’s key practices and advanced technologies for enhancing the security of digital banking services, mitigating fraud risks, strengthening customer confidence in digital banking solutions, and promoting best practices for building a secure and sustainable digital financial ecosystem.
